Robert Joseph DeFrange was born April 15, 1976 in Bristol, Tennessee, and passed away at 43 years of age.
Robert moved to Florida with his family at the age of 3 months, so he lived here all his life in Key Largo, in Fort Lauderdale (Sunrise), and in Tampa (Valrico) since 1998.
Robert graduated from Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida, after which he worked for Bank of America in Valrico.
Robert loved science, the Green Bay Packers, animals – especially his dog Jagger – all loves he shared with his mother, with whom he lived in Valrico.
Robert passed away on January 9, 2020, at Brandon Regional Hospital, leaving behind his mother Anne Marie DeFrange, his sister Sarah DeFrange (of Austin, Texas), and his aunt Karen and Michael Gysin (of Minneapolis, MN). He was predeceased by his father Vincent DeFrange.
Special thank you to the staff at Brandon Regional Hospital and Hillsborough County EMS for their care. A private memorial service will be held. Please remember Robert and his family during this difficult time.

I think about you each day and I hope and pray that you are at peace.
Being in this world without my brother is truly heartbreaking.
