Linda Lee (Newton) Kick, on May 7, 2020, age 72, of natural causes in Tampa, FL. Formerly of Canonsburg, PA, Roslyn Heights, PA and Casa Grande, AZ. Daughter of the late William And Katherine Kick of Canonsburg, PA. Beloved wife of Robert G. Kick, Sr., loving mother of Robert Jr.(Maureen) of Valrico, FL and William (Abby) of Chambersburg, PA. Loving grandmother of Liam, Elle, Ewan, Andrew and Benjamin. Sister to Eileen Newton of Chambersburg, PA. Sister-in-law of George (Sue) Kick, Tucson, AZ. Beloved aunt of Michelle (Kirk) Fuss, Tucson, AZ, and of great-nephews Asher, Isaiah, Aram and Abram and great- niece Lael.
Linda was a graduate of Canon-Macmillan High School class of 1965. In support of her sons she was active in Carlynton HS Band parents. Linda was a talented artist and photographer and award- winning china painter. She worked alongside Robert in the trucking business and later as a program director for the International Poetry Forum in Pittsburgh, PA.
In retirement in Casa Grande, AZ she was an active member of Calvary Chapel, teaching bible school and participating in many church activities. After moving to AZ, she fell in love with the Grand Canyon when she and Robert took a week-long raft trip down the Colorado river. After that she frequently acted as tour guide taking out-of-town guests to see the north and south rims.
