First and foremost Frank loved his family.
He was often referred to as a man’s man for his love of hunting, fishing, carpentry, as a Tugboat captain, gourmet cook and cheering on his beloved Florida Gators.
Frank was extremely active in the community. He was a lifelong committee member of Ducks Unlimited, both local and State level. He taught hunter safety for the State, and was a member of the Elks Club.
Frank was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus and the Rosminians. He also volunteered in the Church’s food pantry.
He attended the University of Florida in 1955 and later graduated from the University of South Florida. He retired as an engineer for the phosphate industry.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Renee Stone Schiele; his children Teresa Schiele Roper and spouse Donovan Roper; Toni Schiele Peterson and spouse Erik Peterson; and Frank Louis Schiele III. Grandchildren: Nathanael Peterson, Zachary Roper, and Kelley Roper. He is also survived by his dear sister Edith Schiele Hardee.
