I am half way around the world in Egypt and cannot attend this sad passing of Darrin, but I wanted to share that the memories I have of him from Ambassador. I will always recall his kindness, GREAT sense of humor, laughter, fun spirit, and a never ending smile. It was a joy to know him at AU and even share a few dances if I recall correctly, and I am deeply sad for everyone’s loss. My prayers and condolences go to the family and all who knew him. – Timithia Miller

You will be missed by so many. Your smile and desire to bring people together was a gift! My heart is heavy, but I am confident that nothing can separate us from the love of God and one day, we will all have a big AU reunion at the feet of Jesus!

I have loved Darrin for over 20 years. We had many adventures over the years even though he was in Florida and I am in Texas. Every time we got together it was so much fun and we always picked up where we left off. He had a way of making those around him feel special. I will miss him but will always carry his love in my heart.

I am so sorry for the loss of Darrin. I remember the many get togethers at your home when you lived in New Jersey. May our loving Father comfort you at this very difficult time and give you strength in the following days and months. I will always have a listening ear Jean if you need to talk. With love and concern for all of you. Pat Bigley
