Brenda Hamilton Pierce, 70, of Zephyrhills (formerly of Tampa), went home to the Lord on January 8, 2020. She was overwhelmingly kind, with a generous and grateful soul. Brenda was a deeply devoted mother to her two sons. She honestly believed her mission in life was to be a mom. And she was amazing at it. She was fair but firm, fragile but strong as iron. She had a wonderful sense of humor, but she had the fire of a dragon if she was provoked, or if she felt someone she loved was in danger. But she had a warm smile and an open heart. Brenda was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Tampa and a very true Christian. Brenda had a tough road for many years but has now arrived at her destination and she has received her reward. She is Heaven’s gain, but a great loss to all those who are heartbroken by her passing. She will be loved and remembered every day. Brenda is survived by her sons, Wally (Wendy) Pierce, and Kris Pierce; her grandsons, Walker Pierce and Weston Pierce; her brother, Jerry Hamilton; and her nephews, Jeremy Hamilton and Joshua Hamilton.
