Obituary for Barbara Ellen Steen

Barbara Ellen Steen, 62, of Valrico, FL passed away peacefully with family at her side on May 11, 2018, at Hospice House, Sun City Center, FL. She was a tireless worker who spent over 25 years working for K-Mart and 12 years for Wal-Mart as a department manager before illnesses forced her into early retirement. She loved butterflies, angels, and her pets, but most of all her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Evelyn Steen, three sisters and two brothers, one of whom, Troy, was her best friend.

A memorial service will be held at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services, 621 N Parsons Ave, Brandon, FL 33510 at 7 p.m. The family will receive guest between 6 and 7 p.m. Flowers are welcome but not expected. Dress is FL casual.

The family would like to thank the Sun City Hospice House staff for the loving care and comfort they provided to Bobbie in her final days.
