Aubrey Huffman, 86, of Brandon, passed away April 8, 2018. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who are heartbroken by this loss. He proudly served his country with the US Air Force, and was always willing to put someone else’s life first. Aubrey was a kind, funny, generous, and sweet man who had a hug and a smile for anyone who needed one. He was quick to forgive, understood those who needed his support, and never failed to make everyone feel important. He was blessed with warmth and wisdom that he freely gave to everyone. Aubrey thought of everyone’s happiness and put that first. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary; his grandson, Sean Vogel and his wife, Jessica Martin; his adored great-grandchildren, Skyla and Julian; his brother, Haskel; and countless friends he’s made over the years.
Aubrey was a blessing, and he will never be forgotten.
Aubrey “Clancy” Huffman was one of the best friends I ever had. We did weddings together for 20 years and shared some amazing moments together. He always had great wisdom and stories to tell. His sense of humor was the best. I will miss him terribly and will never forget the time he was a part of my life. Enjoy the other side my sweet friend!! Michelle Alfonso
Goodby Old Buddy
I’ll never forget the great times we had growing up in the hollers of Raleigh County, WV and the hitch hiking we did through our teen years. Glad to know you’re through your suffering and I hope to see you on the “other side.”
