Allen John Manning

Obituary for Allen John Manning

Allen John Manning, 71, of Thonotosassa, passed away April 20, 2018. Allen was a wonderful man. He loved his family, motorcycles, fast cars, and dancing with his wife of 53 years. He was always ready to help his friends, and to make new ones. He never met a stranger. You never saw him without a smile on his face or something funny to say. He was always the first one to lend a hand. If you ever needed anything, all you had to do was ask. Allen was born and raised in Tampa, being a lifetime resident of Hillsborough county. He proudly served his country with the US Army, afterwards, he was a Tampa City Police officer, and ended his career as a postal carrier. He will forever be missed and loved by all who are heartbroken by his loss. He leaves to remember him, the love of his life, wife Linda; son, David Manning; grandchildren, Ciara, Chastain, Collin, Cayle, Trace, and Thomas; brother, George Manning; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We love and will miss you every day till we see you once more!
